Your adventure begins with your arrival in Marrakech, the vibrant gateway to Morocco’s wonders, where you’re whisked away to the high valleys via the picturesque Tamaterte pass, setting the stage for what’s to come. From Tachedirte to Azib Likemt, you’ll ascend the northern slopes of Aksoual mountain, reaching breathtaking vistas at the Likemt pass before descending to peaceful shepherd encampments for a night under the stars.
The trek progresses through the awe-inspiring canyons of Oued Aouray, offering views of Mount Toubkal’s eastern slope and the lush Tifnoute valley, before descending to the charming village of Amsouzart. The journey to Ifni Lake reveals the heart of local life in the Atlas, showcasing vibrant villages and the serene beauty of the lake, setting the scene for the ascent to the Toubkal refuge, where you’ll have the option to summit North Africa’s highest peak, Mount Toubkal.
As the mountain phase concludes, a scenic descent through the Ghighaya valley and the pilgrimage site of Sidi Chamharouch leads to the charming villages of the Imlil Valley, marking your return to Marrakech for a brief respite before the Atlantic leg of your trek begins.
Transitioning from the mountains to the ocean, you’ll head to Imessouane, where the Atlantic coast unfurls its beauty, signaling the start of your coastal hike. Alongside your camel caravan, you’ll traverse argan-strewn landscapes, cliffside paths, and pristine beaches to reach Tafedna, an old Portuguese anchorage. The journey continues through a changing tapestry of cliffs, rock jolts, and traditional villages, culminating in the idyllic setting of Sidi M’barek, where sea, village, waterfall, and palm trees create a picturesque bivouac spot.
The final days of your trek are a celebration of Morocco’s coastal splendor, from the vast beaches and hidden creeks near Cape Sim to the historic and artisanal richness of Essaouira. The journey concludes with a return to Marrakech, where the memories of mountains and ocean, coupled with the warmth of Moroccan hospitality, make for an unforgettable departure.

immediately to Tachidirte, 2300 m through the Tamaterte pass at 2200m (3h drive ).
Day 2
Early in the morning, you will attack the northern slope of the Aksoual mountain to reach the Likemt pass, 3,500m. Beautiful panoramic view on the plain of Haouz and djebel Angour and descent to the sheepfolds. Bivouac at 2300m. (6 hrs walking).
Day 3
Along the Oued Aouray (canyons) to the pass at 2600m. From there, we can observe the summit of Toubkal by the eastern slope and the whole valley of Tifnoute.Then long descent to the famous village of Amsouzart at 1700m bivouac. (7h walking).
Day 4
Small stage that crosses many and very interesting villages including: Adouze Imhilen. Slight climb to the lake at 2200m where the bivouac takes place. (4 hours walk).
Day 5
Early morning climb the slope and Toubkal for arrive at the pass of Oualoums at 3700m, beautiful view of the chain of Ouanoukrim and the plateau of Tadate, then descent on the north side to reach the Toubkal refuge. Bivouac at 3207m. (6 hours of walking).
Day 6
early departure for the optional ascent of Mount Toubkal a 4,167m the highest peak in North Africa Return to bivouac (6h walk)
Day 7
Descent of the ghighaya valley, passage at Marabout sidi Chamharouch where come to collect many pilgrims, crossing villages of Armed, Achyen and Imlil and return by car to Marrakech. Night at the hotel Dinner at the expense of the participants.or stay in Imlil
Day 8
Early morning departure by minibus or taxi to the beach of Imessouane. Advanced tip in the ocean that marks the beginning of the coastal hike.Bivouac.
Day 9
You will meet your camel drivers and begin the hike to Imartism.
Day 10
You will continue in the argan bush (it is not uncommon to see some goats perched in the bushes) and along the cliffs and beaches, to Tafedna, old Portuguese anchorage (6h walk)
Day 11
You will abandon the domain of the argan tree, botanical curiosity
in southern Morocco, from which an edible oil is extracted, for a landscape of cliffs and
rock jolt to the bivouac near the village of Iftane (6 to 7 hours walk).
Day 12
You will reach a steep feel that will allow you to leave the coast to drive you inland. Bivouac in Sidi M’barek, between sea, village Marabout, waterfall and palm trees (6 hours walk).
Day 13
Sidi M’areks -cap Sim you will follow immense beaches, cliffs and secret creeks, as well as a string of douars from the Haha tribe, to the bivouac in near Cape Sim (5h walk).
Day 14
Departure to Cape Sim which marks the end of the
Coastal hike (3h walk). And transfer to Essaouira (ex Mogador), renowned and for
the skill of its wood craftsmen (thuya walnut and lemon tree, alleys under vaults in colors
blue and white, medinas and souks. Lunch at your expense. Visit of Essaouira and return to
Marrakech in the afternoon. Dinner at your expense. Night at the hotel.
Day 15
Departure from Marrakech. Transfer to the airport and assistance with formalities

This is the best tour on the east coast! It was amazing how many places we visited and what great memories we made!
