Tour Plan
Our tour guid/ driver will pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech. From here you will cross the Atlas mountains via the Tichka Pass (2.260m), a scenic road from which you can see the incredible landscape dotted with Berber villages along the way. First stop is at Ksar Ait Ben Haddou,recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site since 1987. It is also known as the "Hollywood of Morocco", where many movies have been filmed, including 'Gladiator', 'Lawrence of Arabia', and
'Kingdom of Heaven'. From here we travel to Ouarazazte to visit the "Taourirt Kasbah', where we will enjoy lunch. After lunch we will drive through the Skoura palm grove and the Roses Valley to Dades Valley. Arriving at Dades Gorges in the early evening we will spend the first night in hotel.
After breakfast, we will drive to see the panoramic vista of the Dades Gorges. From here we drive back to Boumalen Dades and Tinghir. At Todra Valley you will have time to walk with your guide near the gardens and the great oasis until the canyon (300m), a place preferred by mountain climbers.Then we depart to Erfoud, where we will eat lunch and travel on to Merzouga. Arriving in late afternoon, you may enjoy a swim in the pool at the hotel. Afterward we will take a camel trek (2 hours)through the dunes, arriving at the camp at sunset where you will spend the night.
Waking before sunrise to watch the amazing changing lights of the desert. We camel trek back to the hotel in Merzouga where you can shower and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The driver will meet you and
take you back to Marrakech via the Draa Valley, Agdz and Ouarzazate. Free time for lunch on the way,arriving at Marrakech around 18:00.
