Day 1: Marrakech – the Ait Bouguemez valley (1750m) – Start of the hike – Night in tents at Ikkis N’Arous (2300m)
Early morning transfer from Marrakech to the small town of Azilal (the gateway to the mountain). Then continue to the Tizi N’oughbar Pass before arriving in the happy valley of Aît Bougmez. Meet our team of muleteers. Lunch then we go up the small valley of Arous towards the sheepfolds of IKKIS n’Arous. Duration: 5 hours of walking. 2.5 hours of walking. Elevation: 500m of ascent. Night in tents.

Day 2: Ikkis N’Arous 2250 m – Tarkedit Pass (3400m) – Tarkedit (2900m)
We go back up to the Tarkedit pass at 3400m altitude, a few stops before the pass where the view is magical on the Mgoun chain and the summit of Mgoun 4068 m. A one-hour descent to the Tarkedit plateau; a vast plateau frequented by Nomads. Duration: 5H30 of walking Elevation: 1050m ascent and 500m descent. Night in tents.

Day 3: Tarkadit – Ascent of M’Goun (4071m) – Oulilimt Springs (2600m)
A long stage of 9 hours of walking. We go back up to the ridge, from where the views are panoramic up to the summit of M’goun; the roof of the central high atlas, where the view is splendid on the entire M’Goun Massif and its distant valleys (Draa Valley and Dades …), then a long descent with beautiful landscapes to reach our camp. The duration: 9 hours of walking. Elevation: 1170m ascent and negative 1470m. Night in tents.Day 4: Oulilimt Sources (2600m) – Ait Imi Pass (2905 m) – The Ait Imi source (2100m)
Meeting nomads with their families and their herds. We climb towards the Ait Imi pass (2905 m), panoramic view from the pass on all the surrounding mountains and behind view of the Mgoun. A long descent towards the Ait Bougmez valley. Half meal with juniper amber. After an hour of walking we arrive at our camp near the Ait Imi spring. Duration: 5h30 of walking. Night in tents.

Day 5: Ait Imi – Adazen mountain (2400m) – the descent of the Ait Bougmez valley –  (1750m)
A quiet day to see the natural heritage, the architectural and cultural riches of the happy valley of Aït Bougmez. We start our day by visiting the dinosaur tracks in the heart of the village of Ibaklioun. Then, a one-hour climb to the Adazen ridge through a juniper forest. Then the descent by a small path to the village of Ait Ouangdal. We cross many villages with houses built of adobe and they blend in with the impressive landscapes of the Atlas. We go back up the old Marabout and fortified granary of Sidi Moussa, which offers a beautiful view of the valley. 5 hours of walking. Night in a guest house 

Day 6: TransferAit Bougmez – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech
Transfer by vehicle to the small town of Azilal via another road. The visit to the Ouzoud waterfalls is well planned. Lunch in a small local restaurant near the waterfalls. Afterwards we continue the road to Marrakech. Arrival expected around 5 p.m. 5 hours of driving. End of our services.
