Great Trip tocombine between Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert, Dunes of Merzouga, The camel ride is an adventure that everyone must undertake and the guides are always friendly and talkative making this trip a worth while experience for all .
Day 1: Pick up from Marrakech and Drive to Imlil Valley 1740m - Tizi N'tamatert pass 2379m – Tingherine:
After a transfer to the village of Imlil, we start our trek. We walk from Imlil (1740m) towards Tinerhourhine, hereby passing by Tamatert. We will have lunch on the col of Tizi 'n Tamatert (2279m). After lunch continue to Ouanskra - Tamguist. Later we arrive at Tinerhourhine (1600m) where we will spend the night in a local gite. Approx. 4 hours walking.
Day 2: Tingherine Village – Tizi Aguersioual pass 2000 m – Id Aissa :
We depart from Tinerhourhine along the Imenane Valley; hereby we pass the Berber village Ikkiss (1700m). We then continue to Tizi n’Aguersioual (2000m) and will have our lunch at Matate (2000m). We will spend the night in a local gite in Aït Aïssa (1800m). Approx. 6 to 7 hours walking.
Day 3: Id Aissa – Tizi Oussem Villahe 1600m – Imlil Valley 1740m :
We depart from Aït Aïssa and walk towards Tizi Oussem (1900m). We pass by Tizi Mzik (2400m), and the village of Mzik before arriving back in Imlil. Approx. 4 hours walking time. night in imlil
Day 4: Imlil - Tizi -n-Tichka - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley/Gorges :
After breakfast we will start our journey from imlil to Dades Gorges across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages then we continue to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, you will have lunch at Ait benhaddou or ouarzazate where you'll visit Kasbah Taourirt and the atlas studios then we continue to Dades gorges though roses and dades valley, we well spend the night in a riad/hotel in Dades gorges .
Day 5: Dades Gorges - Tenghir - Todra Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud - Merzouga :
After breakfast and shower, we will start our journey to Merzouga Sahara Desert, before we leave, we will visit Dades Gorges and will be a great opportunity to take a lovely pictures and nice view to see... we will continue driving toward Tinghir '' Todra Gorges '' there you will have a free time to walk around and then we go to the Tinjdad town where we will stop for lunch, after lunch we go to Merzouga Desert where the camel trekking tours start from, we will arrive to Merzouga in the afternoon around 16:00 to be ready for the camel riding into the erg chebbi dunes, before we leave to desert, each person will have his camel, you will ride camels for 1h 30 inside the dunes of Sahara Erg chebbi.at your arrival to the camp ''nomad tents'' you will leave your luggage in the tent and then you can walk in the dunes to watch the beautiful sunset and try a sand board in the sand dunes ! After dinner, the party will start. Listening to local berber nomads musicians play traditional music with drums and dancing around the campfire, after the party will be great opportunity to watch the magical sky full of stars and take a lovely pictures. Dinner and overnight in nomad camp.
Day 6: Merzouga - Rissani - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech :
Early morning you will wake you up to watch the sunrise from the dunes and , return by camels to the Hotel after breakfast and shower then start to the huge palm grove of Tafilalet through Rissani and with draa valley arrival at Ouarzazate Free Time for lunch before Our getting back to marrakech Arrival in the evening and drop off at your riad or anywhere you want and end of our services.
